The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel And Spa On Del Monte Golf Course
HOTEL CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Hotel check-in will be Tuesday, February 27th at 4:00pm for international and east coast travelers; and Wednesday, February 28th at 4:00pm for all other guests. Hotel check-out will be Friday, March 1st at 11:00am for all guests; and Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00am for international and east coast travelers. A government-issued photo identification or passport will be required to present upon hotel check-in. All guests will be required to input a personal credit card number for incidentals as a part of the KNCT registration process. The card you enter will be kept on file with the hotel and charged a pre-authorization fee of $1.00 per day for incidentals upon hotel check-in. Room rates, service charges, and taxes for the duration of the conference are paid directly by Kendo/KNCT. In the event additional services are charged to your room (e.g., mini bar, spa, or room service) they will be considered a personal expense and charged directly to your personal credit card on file.
EXTENDED STAYS
We are excited to have negotiated discounted rates for all Kendoites, for three days both pre/post our conference dates. If you would like to extend your stay and utilize this benefit, you may select the additional dates within the KNCT registration form. Any dates outside of KNCT (2/28/24 - 3/1/24, 2/27/24 - 3/2/24 for international/east coast) will be billed directly to your personal card on file. If you are not ready to confirm dates or wish to book your extended stay after registration closes, please email us directly at KNCT@sephora.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Please be advised, extended stay requests received after our registration closure will not be guaranteed and subject to hotel availability.
ROOMING
Per Kendo policy, Coordinator through Senior Manager levels are required to share a room unless you have been medically cleared with both your medical professional and HR Business Partner for a single room. You will be required to enter/select your roommate as a part of the KNCT registration process. Roommates will be assigned on a one to one match and first come first serve basis. Roommate assignments will be announced early February. For shared rooms, both guests' names and credit cards will be on the hotel reservation and additional service charges/incidentals will be reviewed and settled accordingly upon check-out.
KNCT ARRIVAL/EVENT REGISTRATION
KNCT event registration will begin Wednesday morning followed by conference programming to begin promptly after lunch. A friendly reminder, hotel check-in is at 4pm. A satellite bell desk and luggage drop area will be available at the KNCT registration desk upon arrival in the event your room is not available for early check-in.
PROPERTY AMENITIES
We appreciate everyone’s excitement to connect in person as our global Kendo community comes together! Kendo/KNCT will provide morning and evening activities over the course of the conference to allow teams to nurture and foster connections. We kindly ask that any individual or team on/off-site activities are not scheduled during KNCT hours. The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa offers both on/off-site activities and amenities such as; Monterey tours, pickle-ball and tennis courts, eighteen hole golf course, and other wellness/fitness classes. If you or your team wish to enjoy the property or nearby amenities outside of KNCT programming hours, please be aware that participation in such activities is not covered or expensable by KNCT.

SHUTTLES
Shuttle transportation will be provided to/from KNCT at designated pick-up/drop-off locations in major areas; SF Downtown/KKO, East Bay, and Peninsula. This year, shuttle sign ups will be included as a requirement in the registration process. Space is limited to fifty-six passengers per shuttle and reservations will be selected on a first come, first serve basis through your KNCT registration submission. For this reason, we strongly advise that you confirm and book your travel prior to registering. Once registration for all guests are reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email with your final shuttle location and time. Please be advised, if you fail to reserve your shuttle through registration you will be responsible for your own transportation to/from the conference.
DRIVING / RIDE SHARE
If you choose to drive or take a ride share, any costs associated (e.g., gas or Uber/Lyft) will not be covered or expensable by Kendo/KNCT. For this reason, we strongly recommend pre-reserving a shuttle to avoid any out of pocket expenses. The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa has complimentary self-parking available on the property. There are twelve electric vehicle charging stations on-site that are both universal and Tesla compatible. Charging stations are complimentary for hotel guests and available on a first come basis with a four hour maximum charging time. Please contact the hotel’s valet department directly if you have additional questions.
FLYING (DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL)
You are required to book your flights PRIOR to registering for KNCT. We are requiring you to provide your flight information as a part of the registration process to ensure you receive proper travel accommodations to/from the airport. Transportation details to/from the airport will be shared early February upon review of all flight details. Per Kendo’s travel policy, please book your flights directly through Concur. For additional questions, please refer to our Kendo Travel and Expense Reporting Policy.
If you are traveling directly to Monterey, we highly suggest flying to/from the closest airports; Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) or San Jose International Airport (SJC). If you’re flying into SFO and will be at KKO prior to the conference, please be sure to book a shuttle through KNCT registration for transportation to Monterey. For flyers arriving into Monterey Airport, The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa offers complimentary shuttle service daily between 7:15am - 11pm.
